Each World Vision Gift you buy represents an item or activity included in our work to help children and communities here in Australia and overseas.
Funds from gift purchases are pooled to support work in a specific category, such as health, education or family incomes. That way, we can make sure they have the greatest impact and are used where needed most.
For example, when you buy the gift of a goat or fast-growing seeds, your donation will be used to help families grow more food and increase their incomes.
If we receive more contributions than needed in a particular category, we’ll use the excess for work in other categories represented by items in the catalogue.
