In Vietnam, many children are forced to leave school to work,
trapping them in a never-ending cycle of poverty.
As a sponsored child, Sinh was encouraged to keep studying by his sponsor
and her monthly letters. “I felt like I was part of her family,” he said.
After graduating high school, Sinh went on to take an apprenticeship in the city.
Sinh is now back in his hometown working in an electronics store.
He is able to support both his parents as well as a small family of his own.
