This is an incredible moment for Gandulam. After 14 years of child sponsorship through World Vision, the 22-year-old has graduated from law school in Mongolia.
She has overcome many challenges. Gandulam’s parents could barely afford to support their family of six, let alone university fees. But Gandulam was given the opportunity to continue her education thanks to World Vision’s child sponsorship program. Now, she’s pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a prosecutor and fighting for justice.
"My family, relatives and sisters and brothers of World Vision have all believed in me, motivated me,” she says.
"I am so happy that I was given the chance to study law for four years, and now I am graduating! I am really grateful for World Vision and my sponsor, Sylvia.”
Like Sylvia, you can help a child overcome disadvantage. When you sponsor a child, their world is transformed, as all children in the community benefit from improved healthcare, water, sanitation and food. It’s long-term change that gives children a chance to achieve great things – and you can be part of it.
