Things to keep in mind
We only accept donations that meet our safety, cultural appropriateness, quality and environmental impact guidelines. This means:
- We almost never accept clothing – many of the communities we work with depend on clothing manufacture and textile production to earn a living.
- Products should not be due to expire for at least 18 months – this way international World Vision staff have sufficient time to distribute goods safely.
- Products should also be new and of high quality. We don't facilitate the donation of second-hand items.
