Statement on US Supreme Court ruling on World Vision US’s Christian hiring policies

World Vision Australia is not affected by the US Supreme Court’s decision today to allow World Vision US to continue to hire only those who agree to follow the organisation’s statement of Christian values. 

While World Vision Australia is part of the global World Vision partnership, the court’s decision only applies to the World Vision office based in the US. 

World Vision Australia does not have a policy of hiring only Christians. The organisation hires people of many faiths including Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and Christians.
