Schools in South Sudan, Sudan, Jordan and DR Congo were assisted by our school feeding program.

Displaced children who could continue their education in these schools were provided with healthy, nutritious meals to encourage them to attend school and provide them with the much-needed energy to focus on their education. Parents also benefited from the employment opportunities provided by the program.

Vulnerable families receive cash or vouchers to purchase vital food items


Cash or voucher transfers gave vulnerable families the ability to purchase vital food items or even support their children’s education.

Instead of simply receiving handouts and being treated as aid recipients these families find dignity in being able to conveniently purchase food of their choice from registered stores. The cash and voucher transfer system is also improving the local economy by supporting local sellers/traders.

tonnes of emergency food such as rice, wheat, beans and cooking oil were distributed among communities suffering from severe food shortages and hunger.

114,000

displaced people by the effects of Cyclone Idai in Mozambique and Zimbabwe were reached with emergency aid to help them recover from the disaster.

people in countries like Burundi and Sudan were provided with training and financial support that enabled them to achieve food security and end the cycle of poverty.

Syrian refugees who fled from their war-torn country to Jordan and Lebanon were provided with humanitarian aid and support.
