As a Christian, humanitarian organisation, we stand in solidarity with all those affected by the Australian bushfire crisis and with our Australian partner agencies who are working tirelessly to help them.

World Vision is not registered to operate in an Australian emergency. Instead state emergency agencies work with our partners the Australian Red Cross, The Salvation Army and others to activate emergency response plans in the event of disasters in Australia.

We encourage people who want to support bushfire survivors to donate to the following appeals. The most effective and efficient way to help is through cash donations. Clothing, food and other goods are not required.

*100% of donated funds will go directly to communities in need.

Our programs in Australia

In partnership with local communities, World Vision runs a range of community development projects in NSW, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

We are thankful to share that, to date, none of the communities we partner with through our Australia First Nations Program have been affected by the bushfires.
