Spreading good health

Workplace flu vaccinations go even further through our partnership with Medimobile.

Medimobile and World Vision

Our long-term corporate partner Medimobile is Australia’s largest provider of workplace flu vaccinations. Every year, they provide over 230,000 Australians with a high-quality medical service delivered by more than 340 nurse immunisers.

This not only helps improve health here in Australia, but also among communities in developing countries. For every person vaccinated, Medimobile donates $1 to charity.

Over the last seven years, Medimobile has donated more than $700,000 to World Vision maternal and child health projects in the Pacific and Timor-Leste.

Medimobile has also supported our health projects in Nepal, Tanzania and Mozambique, and sponsors 25 children across the globe.

Workplace flu vaccinations in 2020

To meet significantly increased demand, Medimobile has secured extra flu vaccines and extended its vaccinating program until 10 June.

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Medimobile has been able to continue offering its services – including by partnering with pharmacies and GPs.

This year, it’s more important than ever that as many people as possible receive their annual flu vaccination. This helps to minimise the impact of flu on individuals, communities, businesses and the health system.

Benefiting Australians and our Pacific neighbours

There are still limited places for businesses to book a 2020 workplace flu vaccination program.

For every individual quoting World Vision during sign-up to their workplace vaccination program, $1 is donated to our maternal and child health projects.

This supports some of our nearest neighbours, including communities in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste. With better hygiene, sanitation, healthcare and nutrition, more mothers and young children can enjoy healthy, happy lives.

Thank you, Medimobile!
