Register for the Award

World Vision is an Open Award Centre for The Duke of Ed in New South Wales. We’re helping to make the Award more accessible because we want to see every young person flourish, both globally and locally – and that includes you!

Registering with us is the perfect option if you’re keen to complete the Award but aren’t part of a school or organisation that runs the Award.

We have a team of passionate mentors who will work with you and guide you through the Award process, so you can overcome challenges, increase your confidence and realise your potential.

No matter your location within New South Wales, your personal circumstances or physical abilities, we’re here to help you with your Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. All we ask is that you have the desire to become #WORLDREADY – ready to challenge yourself, achieve personal growth and make a meaningful difference to others through the 40 Hour Famine.

Our goal is to see every Participant complete their Award with a sense of purpose, drive for change and hope for the future.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • design your own Award program;
  • set your own goals and record your progress;
  • make a positive impact on the lives of others through volunteering;
  • learn valuable practical and social skills for career development;
  • take on an Adventurous Journey; and
  • connect with other Award Participants at home and abroad.
