Empowering your students to change the world.
As Australia's largest international NGO, we have exclusive partnerships with prominent organisations around the world. Explore a range of leadership development opportunities for your students to become the next generation of future leaders.
World Vision Australia is an Open Award Centre for the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in New South Wales. We can help your students to complete their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards if they undertake the 40 Hour Famine as part of their Award journey.
Today, an estimated 50 million people across 45 countries are on the brink of famine. More than half of them are children. Participants can raise awareness and much-needed funds through the 40 Hour Famine, while realising their potential to lead and make a meaningful difference in vulnerable children’s lives.
If your school or organisation is not an Award Centre, students can register directly with us to complete their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. We will help them generate ideas, map their journey and make up their hours.
If your school or organisation is already an Award Centre, we can provide support as an assessor. We will assess participants’ involvement in World Vision advocacy and fundraising activities.
Courage is calling you to take on experiences that stretch your comfort zone and build your personal resilience.
Practise leadership through refining skills in communication and decision-making to accelerate your readiness for the workforce.
Develop personal connections and identity as you realise your potential to lead and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
