This year, the 40 Hour Famine is different.

Could you imagine packing your bags and leaving everything behind? Globally, more than 65.1 Million people have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict.

More than half of these are children.

Introducing the 2017 Backpack Challenge. We’re making a change by packing our bags. We will commit to living out of a backpack, with only the essentials, for 40 hours to raise funds for refugee and displaced children.

Fill your bag with food, water and warm clothes; whatever you think you'll need to get through.

This year's 40 Hour Famine will support work in regions heavily affected by the crisis; Syria, South Sudan and their neighbouring countries. The funds you raise will help provide food, water, blankets, tarps, temporary shelter and safe spaces for some of the world's most vulnerable children.

Can you imagine being forced to flee home?
