Following the explosion, an estimated 5,000 people have been injured, with an estimated 300,000 people left homeless. Lebanon is already in the middle of an economic crisis and in recent weeks the rate of COVID-19 cases has also drastically increased. We have been distributing disinfectant kits to vulnerable families in the fight against the Coronavirus, assisting nearly 30,000 people in the country so far, as we continue to support around one million displaced Syrian refugees living in Lebanon.
