The activities and responses your support will make possible will vary depending on the type of emergency.

Saving lives in rapid-onset crises

In rapid-onset crises, like earthquakes, tsunamis and cyclones, our priority is saving lives. You’ll help us set up initial responses or support long-term work in devastated areas.

Improving community resilience

In slow-onset crises, like famines, you’ll help with long-term, planned responses. This includes improving community resilience through a greater variety of food, water and income sources.

Providing food, water and shelter

You can help providing life-saving food to the most vulnerable children and their families in times of unexpected crises. Providing shelter kits and essential household items helps those who have lost everything to survive and recover.

Supporting child protection

You can help identify and protect the most vulnerable children and support communities to establish child friendly spaces where children can safely learn and play.

Help protect lives, restore dignity and renew hope.

Your support is vital.
