Annual Reports and Program Reviews

World Vision Australia Reports and Reviews

Regular and transparent reporting on our activities, operations and performance, both in Australia and overseas, is an important way we demonstrate our accountability to others.

These documents make up our annual reporting suite, which in 2009 and 2013 won the PricewaterhouseCoopers Transparency Award for quality and transparency in reporting for the not-for-profit sector.

Annual Report

The Annual Report records World Vision Australia’s activities and performance for the World Vision International Partnership financial year from 1 October to 30 September.

It documents progress against organisational goals, highlights from our relief, development and advocacy initiatives, as well as our financial position and performance.

Companion documents

The Annual Program Review and the Annual Evaluation Review are companion documents to our Annual Report.

They provide valuable insights into our programming practices and enable critical, reflective learning for continuous improvement.

Annual Evaluation Review

Each year, the Annual Evaluation Review considers evaluations carried out as part of our regular program implementation. It reports on project evaluation practices, and explores project outcomes. It also highlights key issues, success stories and opportunities for us to learn and improve.

Annual Program Review

The Annual Program Review (known in previous years as Responses to Poverty) contains detailed case studies from our relief, development and advocacy programs.

The case studies provide an honest insight into the realities of our work, discussing both successes and failures, and they assist our efforts to improve accountability and effectiveness.
