Like many children in Africa, John and Phelma from the Mwinilunga community in
Zambia don’t have access to clean water, so they are forced to drink water that
can make them sick.
Drinking from dirty water sources can lead to diseases such as
diarrhoea and bilharzia, which kill 6,000 children every day.
Simple solutions like drilling boreholes, protecting springs and providing
health education can stop children dying because of dirty water.
By supporting Water Health Life, you can help communities secure long-term
access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation – all from just $39 a month.
Already, exciting improvements in health and hygiene are being seen in
communities like Mwinilunga that have clean water for the first time. But there
is still much work to do and we need your support.
