World Vision’s work

World Vision Australia works globally with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Our work in long-term community development, policy advocacy and change, and emergency relief addresses not only the symptoms of poverty, but also its complex and interrelated causes.

Melissa is a passionate advocate for our child sponsorship program having sponsored several children, including Khulan in Mongolia. Over 11 years, Mel witnessed how her sponsorship helped to enable Khulan’s once-struggling community to generate more income and provide quality education, clean water, nutritious food and healthcare for their children.
