How you can help

  1. Dirty water is a silent killer, spreading disease and untold suffering.
  2. When a community gains access to safe, clean water, many positive changes follow.
  3. With clean water on her doorstep, Bintou now has time to learn and play.

Fresh water is the key to many of the world’s biggest health and poverty issues. Whether it’s drinking water to sustain human life, water for agriculture, infrastructure for hygienic communities, or fresh water supplies after disaster strikes, World Vision works every day to provide for disadvantaged communities, and needs your ongoing support.

To continue our life-saving community development work, World Vision is asking generous Australians to consider supporting our efforts to guarantee secure, healthy water supplies to at-risk communities.

Our Water Health Life program is an especially effective way to target your donation to the eradication of deadly water-borne diseases that hit children the hardest, and to support the construction of sustainable water programs across the globe.

When disaster strikes – whether it be natural or man-made – World Vision’s Emergency Preparedness Fund makes it possible to mount an immediate, effective response; we are often on the ground on the same day. One of the most urgent needs in almost any disaster is fresh water, so a contribution or ongoing support for our Emergency Preparedness Fund enables this vital first response to occur.

So whether your support is directed to programs in developing areas or life-saving emergency response, you can be sure that your assistance is received and appreciated by the neediest people in our global community.
