On 8 October 2005, the massive earthquake that struck northern Pakistan stunned the world. As the harsh winter closed in, World Vision was on the ground providing emergency accommodation and sustenance for some of the 3 million homeless people. This photo essay portrays the people and the places affected by this terrible disaster.
