World Vision wants to empower you and your church to live out your faith by supporting communities in need around the world.
It is all about putting your faith in action because, ‘Faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead.’ James 2:17
World Vision’s Faith in action tools are designed to engage your faith and your church holistically with the issues of poverty and injustice.
We encourage you to put your faith in action and partner with World Vision in four ways – to Learn, Speak, Give and Act.
Learn about the issues facing families and communities living in developing countries.
Discover more about what the Bible tells us of Jesus’ heart for those living in poverty and suffering injustice.
Speak out and be a person who makes a difference by telling others about the issues and speaking about God’s heart for the poor.
Be a voice for change. Educate your church and inspire your world about what can be done to end poverty.
Give and see lives changed. As an entire church community you can join together to partner with a World Vision development project.
As an individual or as a small group you can support Child Rescue and help World Vision to rescue children from appalling situations.
Act to make something happen. Your church community can join the Micah Challenge campaign to make poverty history.
You can organise an event, pray for the work of World Vision or get involved with KIDS HOPE AUS.
Faith in action presents a variety of ways for you and your church to get involved in the fight against global poverty – together we can make a difference.
