40 Hour Famine
Have you ever been hungry? Really hungry? Even though we have plenty of food to go around, more than 840 million people around the world remain hungry. Even more suffer from malnutrition and other health-related problems.
The 40 Hour Famine is Australia's biggest International aid youth fundraising event. It's proof that our generation won't just stand by and let people go hungry.
Work Experience Program
World Vision’s Work Experience Program aims to give secondary students an understanding of what it is like to work in an aid and humanitarian organisation.
Work Experience placements are usually based in the national office in East Burwood, Victoria. There are limited places each year and to be successful students will need to go through an application process which occurs at the start of every school year.
Tertiary Student Internships
World Vision recognise the value of recruiting new talent at university level and building future leaders in the fight to eliminate poverty and its causes.
World Vision’s Internship Program provides you with the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills gained from academic study to a planned and supervised work environment. Interns gain hands on experience in working in a large NGO and about nonprofits development work and World Vision's ministry.
