Frequently Asked Questions

What does World Vision do?

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
Our aim is to highlight  issues of global poverty. We believe that through awareness and education we can help to change the actions of individuals, governments and institutions in wealthy countries like Australia, the US and Canada while equipping communities in developing nations to find solutions to their immediate and long-term problems.

Why India?

World Vision has been working in India since at least the early 1970s, and now implements a wide range of programs and projects. Our area development programs have a lifespan of about 15 years, which gives us the time to build relationships and strengthen the community's capacity to take charge of its future development. India has area development programs at all stages of this lifecycle and in a range of different contexts, so our vloggers will be able to see how long-term funding and support can lead to positive change in the lives of children and their communities.

Who are the vloggers?

We have a whole page where you can learn about them.

How can I get involved?

There are so many ways you can make a difference. Sponsor a child from India, share these stories with friends and family, or visit your country's World Vision website to learn more about global issues.
