What is a Gift Registry?

Welcome to the Smiles Gift Registry area of the Smiles Gift Catalogue. The Smiles Gift Catalogue itself is a compilation of items identified by the communities we work with as being particularly needed for their well being. It provides an opportunity to help children, families and communities in need that may not be helped in other ways, such as through child sponsorship or other World Vision programs.

The Smiles gift registry is an alternative way to use the Smiles Gift Catalogue. The Smiles Gift Registry works like a regular gift registry. But this gift registry gives you the opportunity to help children, families and communities around the world.

Instead of creating a registry at a retail outlet, you create a registry that shows which gifts you would like guests to purchase on your behalf. Once a list is created guest cards are sent to the registry owner to include with the invitation for the wedding, birthday...whatever. Guests then go online and purchase gifts from your registry. The registry can be accessed anytime to view purchases and see personal messages from the guests.
