What is Child Rescue?
Some children have no parents, no community framework or support network to turn to for protection. These children cannot be helped within a typical community context – they are beyond the reach of Child Sponsorship. Child Rescue is about protecting children from suffering, danger and abuse. It also provides assistance or rehabilitation to children who have suffered the worst kind of abuse.
What will your support do?
Your support will help us run projects aimed at preventing exploitation and assisting in the rehabilitation of some of the most vulnerable children including:
Trafficked, exploited and abused
- Protect children who’ve escaped brothels or factories.
- Counsel and rehabilitate children who’ve suffered abuse, bonded labour and slavery.
Vulnerable children and their communities
- Provide 'street kids' with information and support services to improve their life chances.
- Support families and communities to care for orphans and children made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS.
