Jarrod McKenna, an internationally recognised speaker, peace award recipient, blogger and activist based in Perth is a new addition to the Christian Engagement Team at World Vision Australia. Jarrod is not afraid to call others to the grace of a new way of living and his influence is growing.
Jarrod inspires us to step out of our comfort zones and into what he calls “the adventure of living the Love God has shown us!” He writes and speaks about key issues in our world today – of the huge disparity between the rich and the poor, about peace and justice; and reminds us that through the hope and love offered to us through Christ we have the power be a part of God’s transformation of the world.
Jarrod’s recent article on the ABC's Religion website about Christians and climate change sparked much commentary. He is regularly interviewed in the media, is well regarded as a young activist leader in our nation and speaks at conferences, universities and church gatherings across the nation.
