Improving incomes is integral to the work in our Area Development Programs (ADPs). By working at a local level, World Vision helps communities transform their systems and structures in order to improve their overall quality of life.

But our economic development work doesn’t stop there. Many of the economic development principles applied in our ADPs also apply to our Emergency Relief work.

Ensuring that vulnerable communities are prepared for disasters like droughts, floods or cyclones can ensure that losses of vital economic assets are significantly reduced.
