  1. Mel and Tim also visited Habaswein, Kenya to see how World Vision is working to provide water to those in desperate need.
  2. Tim helps as people fill their containers. Provision of clean water is essential. Without it the risk of disease is greatly increased.
  3. World Vision has supplied 5000 people in Dadaab with relief kits to people in Dadaab containing essential items such as tarpaulins, mosquito nets, blankets, buckets, kitchen sets and hygiene kits.
  4. Mel and Tim assisted with the distribution on Friday 12th August, 2011. You can imagine how important these items are for people who have had to leave so much behind.

Last week, Sunrise Presenter Mel Doyle and World Vision CEO Tim Costello travelled to the world’s largest refugee camp in Dadaab, Kenya. The camp is ‘home’ to 400,000 people, with 1,000 new arrivals per day at the moment. There, they met those affected by severe drought.
