Occasionally. But like everyone else, volunteers must go through the same application process, so it’s fair for all.

Yes. Many of our volunteers who work full time find time to volunteer during the evening or on weekends. Some even have the support of their employers to be involved in short-term or one-off projects.

It depends. There is a range of volunteer roles requiring different amounts of time – from full-time placements to one-off projects.

Yes. Our Work Experience Program aims to give secondary students an understanding of what it is like to work in a humanitarian organisation.

Placements are usually at our national office in East Burwood, Victoria. With limited places each year, you’ll need to go through an application process at the start of the school year.

Our application closing date was Friday 18th February, 2011 and unfortunately, due to our limited placements, we are unable to take any further applications.
