Who we are
World Vision Australia is the nation’s largest overseas humanitarian organisation. We implement emergency relief and long-term community development projects. Inspired by Christian values, we aim to engage Australians in the fight against global poverty and injustice.
We operate in 57 countries, employ over 500 staff throughout Australia, and in 2007, we were able to assist over 20 million people across 735 projects worldwide.
We have offices in every state and a national office in Burwood East, Melbourne.

As a child focused organisation, World Vision Australia is committed to the protection of children and does not employ staff whose background is not suitable for working with children. All employment is conditional upon the successful completion of all applicable background checks, including criminal record checks.
