Global Leadership Convention resources Each year World Vision holds a series of Global Leadership Conventions (GLCs) around Australia. The GLCs are designed to inform and engage student leaders who are passionate about changing the world for good. During May and June 2008, World Vision’s GLCs empowered students to transform their words into action and become the kind of leaders and globally-minded citizens that we need – now more than ever. Students delved deep into issues of global poverty, and immersed themselves in the world and work of child labourers. Simulation activities enabled students to intimately experience:
