Scott Sanders, 21, NSW

Through the 40 Hour Famine and the influence of several key people in my life, I was inspired to make poverty history by making poverty personal. I've had a heart for the poor for a while, but I knew it was time to take it to the next level, and I knew becoming a Youth Ambassador would give me this opportunity.

Having experienced India, I see just how "out-of-order" our world is, and how in need it is of urgent repair. In India I heard numerous stories of children who have been, and still are, exposed to situations no child should ever have bear. I’ve been inspired by these children to speak on their behalf.
