I've been involved in the 40 Hour Famine for a long time, and I felt like I wanted to make a real difference in peoples' lives by becoming a Youth Ambassador.

The things I saw in India were incredibly eye-opening. I saw some of the most horrible things I think I will ever see, and my heart was completely broken for the people in the slums.

Travelling to India inspired me to do more than I ever have to fight against poverty. It literally changed my life. Seeing child labour up close and witnessing the horrific conditions children work in has made me determined not to support industries that exploit children.
