Jasmine Zapka - VIC
Jasmine Zapka, 18, VIC I have a lot of family who are living in the Philippines and suffering from the consequences of poverty. I was inspired to make a change not only for my family but also for everyone else out there living like this. My trip to India made me realise how extremely fortunate I am. It made me realise that life often isn’t fair and many children are put into awful situations they can't get out of, but the beauty is that we can help. India has inspired me to come back and empower today’s youth to get motivated to fight poverty! We have the power to eradicate poverty and I want to encourage everyone to make a stand!
