Become a Youth Ambassador for 2011!

Our 2010 Youth Ambassadors in NepalEvery year, World Vision accepts applications from 40 Hour Famine participants to be our Youth Ambassadors for the following year. It's an amazing experience and a chance of a lifetime. Why not consider applying yourself?

What does a World Vision Youth Ambassador Do?

  • Come back to Australia and share the stories of the people you met in schools, at events and with other young people in the community.

We're looking for a person who:

  • has raised $200 or more for the 2010 40 Hour Famine
  • is 15-20 years old in 2011
  • is available in your home state throughout 2011
  • is genuinely interested in issues of global poverty and injustice and wants to see the world change!
  • respects cultural diversity and enjoys experiencing new things
  • enjoys public speaking and could jump up in front of a big school assembly to speak without freaking out!
