Leading Fundraisers & super Famine folk

The race to become this year's top 40 Hour Famine fundraisers is heating up - with just $25 separating the leading 3 Groups!

Our new Leaderboard on our Community page shows how well Individuals and Groups who have online fundraising pages are doing.

Today we give you a run down on the top Groups and Individuals - as well as some other super Famine participants

Individuals

As of today - it's SupaSal ($730), Keith ($620) and Hi=D ($545) leading the Individuals with some awesome early fundraising efforts. They're all fast approaching the $1,000 mark : Awesome stuff!

Groups

In the Groups division, the amazing Blackwood Hills Baptist Church ($1275) near Adelaide head up the Groups division. Last year, Blackwood Hills Baptist and Blackwood Church of Christ together rallied local churches, businesses, schools, community groups, and the local and State governments to unite and connect their community, and mobilise hundreds of people to tackle the Global Food Crisis through the 40 Hour Famine.
(Watch the video on our YouTube channel here)

Not too far behind Blackwood is the awesome guys and gals in the Global Food Crisis Averted ($1260) group and clearly in the hunt is Clayton Church of Christ ($1250)

Don't forget - it's early days and there's still plenty of time to raise money.
