APPLY TO BE A WORLD VISION YOUTH AMBASSADOR FOR 2012!
Every year, World Vision accepts applications from 40 Hour Famine participants to be our Youth Ambassadors for the following year. It's an amazing experience and a chance of a lifetime.
What does a World Vision Youth Ambassador do?
- Travel overseas on a World Vision Study Tour in January 2012 to meet children and families who live in poverty and witness their daily struggles firsthand.
- Come back to Australia and share the stories of the people you met in schools, at events and with other young people in the community.
Application criteria:
- You have raised $200 or more for the 2011 40 Hour Famine
- You are 15-20 years old in 2012
- You are available in your home state throughout 2012
- You are genuinely interested in issues of global poverty and injustice and want to see the world change!
- You respect cultural diversity and enjoy experiencing new things
- You enjoy public speaking and could jump up in front of a big school assembly to speak without freaking out!
