We visited farmer’s groups in East Timor where World Vision staff were providing agricultural training to help farmers increase the yield of their crops so they could sell more to the markets, and we saw real results. These farmers were increasing the yield of their rice crops by four or five times because of this new way of planting crops.

We were not only seeing problems surrounding poverty, but we were seeing solutions to these problems. Solutions that lie within the hands of you and me.
