2010 World Vision Youth Ambassador: Jasmine Mikschi in Nepal

Jasmine Mikschi

18 years old, Queensland

Hey, I'm Jasmine and I believe that we can make a difference in the world!
I feel very strongly about various injustices I see in the world around us and I am fascinated about different cultures and beliefs.

I especially enjoy travelling, learning new things, and seeing places I’ve never seen before. I live my life to serve those in the wider community, and believe that by being Youth Ambassador I can motivate others to help fight poverty.

My sister is an optimist and fashion guru and when she goes op shopping, she always tells me that I’ve got to look at everything with potential. Her attitude has motivated me be an optimist and realise that every person has the potential to be charitable and contribute to the world around them.
