
The Global Leaders Conventions (GLCs) are World Vision’s one-day leadership events, designed to inform and empower students in Years 10-12 who are passionate about being a voice for justice in the world.
The events embrace innovative ways of learning about poverty and global hunger, including:
- engaging multimedia presentations
- interactive simulation game
- dynamic keynote speakers
- peer to peer education
- creative thinking and problem solving exercises

The Global Leaders Convention will encourage secondary school leaders to:
Learn about the challenges associated with global hunger.
Share the vision: explore the world through the eyes of children living in poverty.
Keep the promise: inspire fellow students, school and community to become global citizens by sharing their new knowledge and skills.
Do something real: do the 40 Hour Famine and set an example to their peers.
